As touted in an earlier post New York based synth-electro-rockers The Rapture are putting on a show at Sonar tonight for their Friday night Taxlo party. Doors open at 9pm, with The Rapture scheduled to hit the stage at 11:45 pm. Swing by 407 E. Saratoga St. to catch some shiny, happy, electro-rock goodness.
Before hand I will be stopping at The Depot 1728 N. Charles St. to catch the 80's musical stylings of LoveHate rocking the dancefloor with some Michael Jackson, Run DMC, The Cure and other icons of the glorious decade.
Elsewhere around Baltimore, The Ottobar (2549 N. Howard St.) will be hosting a THE CURE vs DEPECHE MODE vs NEW ORDER vs DURAN DURAN DANCE PARTY!

Sure to be a good time as the Ottobar usually draws some interesting crowds everything in between nappy-headed wannabe rappers to pale emo-screamo kids with funny looking faux-hawks. The drink specials seem to be worth the unsavories anyway, I highly suggest stopping in for a drink.
